The owner of a website that allegedly gathers the “truth” about Area 51 had his “home raided”.
Joerg Arnu, who owns the dreamlandresort, suspects that the military is testing new technology at a secret “base within a base” in the Nevada desert.
He launched the site in 1999 and provided a forum for like-minded enthusiasts to exchange theories about activities at the Air Force facility.
Some contributors on the site included former Area 51 employees – and after a recent raid on Arnu’s home by federal agents, he is convinced that at least one user has revealed the truth about what transpires there.
Area 51 has long been perceived as a location where alien technology is tested, with Bob Lazar, a former employee, claiming to have seen extraterrestrial aircraft on display.
Arnu, who brands himself an “Area 51 research veteran,” is one of approximately 50 residents of Rachel, Nevada, situated on the fringes of the military base.
He believes that the real secrets are now concealed in a new section of Area 51, located north of the existing runways and base buildings.
Arnu said: “They have years and years and decades of experience hiding things. ‘Look at some of the exotic planes, like the Tacit Blue that was developed in total secrecy, was flown in secrecy, then all of a sudden, they put it in a museum and said, “yeah, we had this for a while’.”
Area 51, located 120 miles outside Las Vegas, has been shrouded in secrecy since its founding in 1955, when it was established as part of the Nevada Test and Training Range complex.
In the early 2000s, an Area 51 watchdog named Chuck Clark exposed that the military had placed sensors miles outside the base’s boundaries, which led to a raid on his home.
Arnu’s properties were also allegedly raided by armed counter-terrorism agents in November 2022, according to MailOnline. He was at his home in Rachel when approximately two dozen agents stormed through the door, handcuffed him and took him outside for questioning.
Over 100 miles away in Las Vegas, his girlfriend Linda Hellow was similarly roused by FBI agents who commanded her to come downstairs at gunpoint, it has been claimed.
The agents confiscated four of Arnu’s computers, several hard drives, phones, cameras and a drone. They also took photos of his late parents and records containing personal information.
He later discovered that the raid was executed by a joint team from the FBI and the Air Force Office of Special Investigations, a counter intelligence wing that investigates terrorist groups targeting the Air Force.
